For the dissemination of information and clarification of intent of Contract Documents, a MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 1:00 PM (CST), at the McCarthy Building Companies Office, located at 936 N. 24th Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68102.
Information and clarification of items discussed will only be official if such items are included in an Addendum issued by the Architect.
Before submitting a Bid Proposal, Bidders should carefully examine the Contract Documents; visit the site of work; fully inform themselves as to all existing conditions and limitations, including those of labor; progress of work to date, if any, and shall include in the Bid Proposal a sum sufficient to cover the cost of all items contemplated by the Contract Documents. No consideration will be granted for any alleged misunderstanding of the material, article or piece of equipment to be furnished or work to be done; it being understood that the tender of a Bid Proposal carries with it the agreement to all items and conditions referred to herein or indicated in the Contract Documents.

McCarthy Building Companies will conduct one pre-scheduled Site Visit, at which time, it is highly recommended that Bidders attend the scheduled Site Visit/Walk. The Site Visit/Walk is as follows:

McCarthy Building Companies requests Bid Proposals for the construction of CHI Health - Academic Medical Center - University Campus - Bid Package #4 - Building Fit-Out. Bid Proposals for Work Categories No. 24 through 42 will be received by CHI Health at the McAuley Center office (Attn: Construction Services - Matt Steiner), located at 12809 West Dodge Road, Omaha, Nebraska 68154, until 2:00 PM (CST) on Thursday, September 24, 2015.
The envelopes containing the Bid Proposals must be sealed, addressed to McCarthy Building Companies, and designated as "Bid Package #4 - Bid Proposal for Work Category No. ___, for (Insert Work Category Name here)." No Bid Proposals will be received after the date and time set forth above.
Bid Proposals will be opened privately.

The information contained herein pertains to the Bid Package #4 - Building Fit-Out for the project generally known as CHI Health - Academic Medical Center - University Campus.
Bid Proposals shall be received only from those firms on a Selected Bidders List. Bid Proposals shall be received by Work Category only. All Specification Sections within a given Work Category must be included.
Bid Proposals combining more than one Work Category will be accepted, however, each bidder shall price each Work Category individually, as well. If a cost savings is provided by submitting on multiple Work Categories, please provide this total in the space provided below the "Base Bid" portion of the Bid Proposal form along with a description.
All Work shall be on a "furnish and install" basis unless noted otherwise.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402)592-4950 upon receipt of a non-refundable fee, payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., as determined by the format of Bid Set ordered.
A non-refundable fee outline for hard copy Bid Sets (includes Drawing Set & Specification Set) is listed below:
Full Color, Full-Size - $850.00 (non-refundable)
Full Color, Half-Size - $350.00 (non-refundable)
Black/White, Full-Size - $250.01 (non-refundable)
Black/White, Half-Size - $125.00 (non-refundable)
*A Builder's Card will NOT be accepted in lieu of payment to obtain a Bid Set for this Project.
CD's and Electronic Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents (Full Size, Full Color) in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $50.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee, as determined by the Size/Format of Documents ordered. If a Full-Size Set is ordered, a non-refundable fee in the amount of $50.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. will be required prior to shipping of Bid Documents.
If a Half-Size Set is ordered, a non-refundable fee in the amount of $30.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. will be required prior to shipping of Bid Documents.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a non-refundable flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Bid Documents are available PURCHASE ONLY.
