Bids will be received until 2:00 PM (CDT) on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at Bennington Public Schools District Office Board Room, located at 11620 North 156th Street, Bennington, Nebraska 68007. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately and simultaneously in the presence of bidders, or representatives of bidders, when the hour is reached for the bids to close.

Bennington Public Schools will receive Bids for a Combined Contract, including General Construction, Mechanical and Electrical Work, for a New Middle School located at 11201 North 168th Street, Bennington, Nebraska 68007.
The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following:
New Middle School building, one story in height having a gross area of approximately one hundred twenty-two thousand square feet and related site work. The Work also includes a separate generator and storage building on the same site, one story in height with a gross area of 579 square feet.
Bids must be on a Lump Sum basis.
Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.
Construction Start and Completion Schedule:
1.) School Board Meeting for Award-of-Contract: October 5, 2015. 2.) Start Date of Construction: Immediately upon execution of the Owner-Contractor Agreement. 3.) Substantial Completion: The Project shall be substantially complete on or before June 30, 2017. 4.) Final Completion: Upon reaching Substantial Completion, the outstanding items that need to be completed and/or corrected shall be completed within sixty (60) days after the date established for Substantial Completion. 5.) Refer to "Phased Construction" Article for start and completion dates of phased work.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402)592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $200.00 payable to DLR Group, Inc. *A CURRENT Builder's Card will also be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
CD's and Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $40.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $50.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Bid Documents MUST be returned, in good condition, within 30 calendar days of Bid Opening to receive a deposit refund. If Bid Documents are NOT returned within the time specified, the deposit check will be forfeited.
