Sealed bids will be received in the office of the County Clerk of the Merrick County Courthouse, 1510 18th Street, Central City, Nebraska, until 10:00 o'clock AM, Central Time, on the 8th day of September, 2015, for the New Merrick County Youth and Agricultural Education Center for Merrick County, Central City, Nebraska. All bids, properly received, will be opened at that time in an open and public letting. The Owner will review all bids with the Architect with the intent of awarding a contract for all construction to the lowest responsible bidder. All Bids (including Bid Alternates) must be submitted on the Bid Form provided in the documents.
Merrick County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive all irregularities, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of Merrick County. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened.

It is the responsibility of each Bidder, before submitting a Bid to examine the Contract Documents, make a careful examination of the Drawings and Project Manual, visit the site of the proposed construction, become knowledgeable with all conditions affecting the Work before making his proposal and familiarize himself with the applicable laws and acts of the State of Nebraska, the federal government, and the ordinances of the city or county in which the project is located.
All work is to be executed under a single prime contract between the Owner and the Successful Bidder including but not limited to: General work, Mechanical work and Electrical work.

Bid Documents, in the form of a CD of Electronic Download may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402)592-4950 upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. *A Builder's Card will NOT be accepted.
Only complete sets of Electronic Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial set electronic orders are allowed.
If hard copies are required for your use, they may be obtained at your expense by placing an order directly with the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
To be eligible to print select sheets, you must first purchase a CD or Electronic Download containing the complete set of Bid Documents.
If shipping of Bid Documents in hard copy format is required, there is a non-refundable shipping fee of $25.00 payable A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Bid Documents, in either Electronic or Hard Copy format, are available PURCHASE ONLY.
Do NOT return Bid Documents in hard copy or electronic format, as no deposit refund will be issued.
