Sealed bids to be addressed to Buster Brown, City Clerk, LC-1, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, marked "BID ON: City of Omaha - Benson Park Pedestrian Bridge Repair", must be in his office on or before 11:00 AM on the bid opening date at which time the bids will be opened and read by the City Clerk before the Bid Opening Committee and the public in LC-4, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.

Sealed bids for the renovation/construction of the City of Omaha - Benson Park Pedestrian Bridge Repair, Benson Park, 7002 Military Avenue, Omaha, NE are invited and will be received on or before the bid opening date, as per the project's specifications.
The work consists of the repair of the existing prefabricated weathering-steel truss bridge and includes, but is not limited to: temporarily removing and reinstalling the existing wood deck planking, placement of new exterior stringers and hold down plates, repair of the bottom chord's diagonal brace connections, repair of all 'visually confirmed' corroded areas, repair of all ultrasonically confirmed corroded areas, purchase of MTG8 material thickness gauge by Elcometer, etc.
The work will be constructed under a single prime contract.
