PreBid Info:   There will be a Pre-Bid Conference Tour on the 19th day of May, 2015, starting at 9:00 AM CDT, at Masters Elementary School, then meeting at Prairie Wind Elementary School followed by Fullerton Magnet School, Susan Picotte Elementary School, Edison Elementary School immediately following and concluding at Catlin Arts Magnet School, for the purpose of answering questions and walking the building. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is MANDATORY for all Contractors submitting bids on this project. Contractors must meet and sign-in at the School Office at each school.

Bid Info:   Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, Douglas County, Nebraska, for the Omaha Public Schools - Planning Area C; Fire, Life Safety and Security Improvements - Project Pkg. 1 & Project Pkg. 2, OPS Bid Number 15-038, for the Omaha Public Schools, hereinafter called "District" in accordance with plans, specifications and Contract Documents adopted by the District, prepared by Jackson-Jackson & Associates, Inc., will be received in the office of Purchasing Division, District Operational Services, Omaha Public Schools, 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68131-2024 until 2:00 PM CDT, June 2, 2015.

At that time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud and tabulation will be made to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting for consideration in awarding the Contract. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. The time clock maintained by the OPS District Operational Services shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for the close of bidding.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402)592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $125.00 payable to Omaha Public Schools. *A Builder's Card will also be accepted in lieu of deposit check.

CD's and Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $35.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial set orders will be issued.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $40.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

Bid Documents MUST be returned, in good condition, to the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. within 10 calendar days of Bid Opening to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within stipulated time period, deposit will be forfeited.
