Sealed proposals for the East Mills CSD High School - Roof Replacement located at 1505 E. 15th Street, Malvern, Iowa 51551 will be received by East Mills CSD until 3:00 PM on May 6, 2015. Bids shall be delivered at East Mills Elementary, 58962 380th Street, Hastings, Iowa.

Project Description: Work includes, but is not limited to:
1. Remove existing insulation, roof membranes, loose rock ballast, flashing, wood blocking, dirt, debris, and properly dispose.
2. Remove Loose Flashing, termination bars, and repair defects in existing substrates, as required by new membrane manufacturer, prior to installing new roof system.
3. Disconnect utilities and relocate equipment as required to install new membrane roof systems, raise curbs to minimum 8-inches above new roof membrane, install new membrane roof flashings, and reinstall equipment and utilities.
4. Relocate equipment, ducts, vents, exhausts, lighting, and other miscellaneous items as required to install new membrane roof system, install new membrane roof system, and reinstall items to original locations.
5. Install new membrane flashings, at curbs and penetrations. Typical for all penetrations. Remove or bed up and reinstall metal flashings.
6. Install new TPO membrane roof system, over a recovery board, over new insulation, over existing roof deck.
7. Install new metal roof edge assemblies at parapets and edge of roof conditions.
8. Install walk pads, at locations indicated on Drawings.
Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402)592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $50.00 payable to KPE Engineers. *A Builder's Card will NOT be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
CD's and Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $20.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained. - No partial set orders will be issued.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Bid Documents MUST be returned within 30 calendar days of the Bid Opening to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within stipulated time period, deposit will be forfeited.
