Bid Info:   Sealed proposals for the "East Mills Elementary - HVAC Upgrade" located at 58962 380th Street, Hastings, Iowa 51540 will be received by East Mills CSD until 2:00 PM on May 6, 2015. Bids shall be delivered at East Mills Elementary, 58962 380th Street, Hastings, Iowa.
Mechanical Contractors will be allowed to submit bids as a General Contractor on this project.

Project Location: Hastings, Iowa

Public Notes:
Project Description: Work includes, but is not limited to:

1. Demolition of existing steam boiler system, piping, unit ventilators and several exhaust fans.
2. Installation of a water-source VRF system to be supplied by the existing geo-exchange well field and utilize ceiling mounted cassettes and ducted fan coils to serve spaces.
3. Installation of a condensing boiler for backup to the well field.
4. Installation of a condensing service water heater for domestic water.
5. Installation of new pumps for the hydronic system.
6. Replacement of several exhaust fans.
7. Installation of dedicated outdoor air systems for ventilation.
8. Installation of rooftop units for the gym, cafeteria and entry.
9. Installation of a makeup air unit for the kitchen.
10. Installation of water-source heat pumps for the gym, cafeteria and kitchen.

Project will be constructed under a general construction contract.



Job Purchase Information:
Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402)592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $75.00 payable to KPE Engineers. *A Builder's Card will NOT be accepted in lieu of deposit check.

CD's and Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained. - No partial set orders will be issued.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $35.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

Bid Documents MUST be returned within 30 calendar days of the Bid Opening to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within stipulated time period, deposit will be forfeited.
