Public Notes:
The Owner invites bids for SCC Welding Lab Mechanical Equipment.
The intent of this invitation to bid is to Renovate the HVAC system of the Welding Lab
which includes the installation of a pre-purchased Rooftop Air-handler (AHU) and Dust Collector.
The Welding Lab Renovation Contract will include receipt and
installation of the Rooftop AHU and Dust Collector.
The Rooftop Air-Handling Unit and Dust Collector will be assigned to that Contractor.
The Contractor will then be responsible for receiving and installing the equipment.
The Welding Lab Renovation includes the supply and return air ductwork
of the Rooftop Air- Handling Unit that is serving the area,
the welding lab booth main exhaust ducts, VAV terminal units and heating
and chilled water piping serving the Rooftop Air-Handling Unit.

Work is to begin on April 15, 2015, and all work under the Welding Lab Renovation
is to be substantially completed by June 30, 2015.
All Bidders are required to make a careful, close examination of the entire building area
involved in the construction prior to submitting their bid.
