PreBid Info:   A Pre-Bid Conference will be held for potential Prime Bidders on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the School. No tours will be scheduled before or after the date of the Pre-Bid Conference.

Bid Info:   Sealed bids will be received until 12:00 PM, Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Bedford K-12 School, Attn: Joe Drake, Superintendent, 906 Pennsylvania Street, Bedford, IA 50833, at which hour, or as soon as possible thereafter, the received bids will be publicly opened and considered for the furnishing of labor, materials and equipment necessary for the proper construction of said project.

Public Notes:
Project consists of a complete Mechanical modernization, and related Electrical, Architectural, Structural and Civil upgrades to the existing Bedford K-12 school facility, which is approximately 98,000 SF. The building consists of an original building dating back to approximately 1926, with attached additions which were constructed in approximately 1982, 1997 and 2001. The work consists of general construction and related demolition, primarily consisting of mechanical upgrades, with related work of other trades, to be complete as a single prime contract with the Owner.



Job Purchase Information:
Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402)592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $25.00 payable to Farris Engineering. A Builder's Card will NOT be accepted in lieu of deposit check.

CD's and Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial set orders are allowed.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $30.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

Bid Documents MUST be returned within 15 calendar days of Bid Opening, in good condition, to the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within stipulated time period, deposit will be forfeited.
