SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:

Andersen Middle School is served by a boiler/tower water source heat pump system. The District desires to replace the existing cooling tower as it is at the end of its useful life. The project includes but is not limited to the following major elements:

-Removal of the existing cooling tower.
-Removal of associated condenser water supply and return piping.
-Removal of associated cooling tower fan variable frequency drive.
-Installation of the new cooling tower.
-Installation of new condenser water supply and return piping.
-Installation of a new cooling tower fan variable frequency drive.
-Commissioning of new equipment and controls.
-Electrical modifications to accommodate new mechanical equipment.
-Structural modifications to accommodate new mechanical equipment.
-General Construction to accommodate new mechanical equipment.
-Providing a temporary cooling tower to maintain cooling capacity to gymnasium.

The temperature controls for this site shall be provided by Engineered Controls.

-Installation of the new cooling tower.
-Installation of new condenser water supply and return piping.
-Installation of new vertical turbine cooling tower pumps.
-Commission of new equipment and controls.
-Electrical modifications to accommodate new mechanical equipment.
-Structural modifications to accommodate new mechanical equipment.
-General Construction to accommodate new mechanical equipment.
-Providing a temporary cooling tower to maintain cooling capacity to gymnasium.

The temperature controls for this project shall by provided by Control Masters, Inc.

Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
