A pre-bid walk through has been scheduled for February 12, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors Hearing Room in the Pottawattamie County Courthouse at 227 S. 6th Street in Council Bluffs, Iowa for interested Contractors, Suppliers and Subcontractors to view the project site and areas of the courthouse, Elections Building and Juvenile Detention Facility to look at areas affected by proposed fiber optic lines and to ask questions. Attendance is not mandatory, but strongly suggested.

Sealed bids for the Veterans Affairs Office, Pottawattamie County, Iowa located at 6th Avenue and South Expressway in Council Bluffs, Iowa will be received at the offices of HGM Associates, Inc., 640 Fifth Avenue, Council Bluffs, Iowa, until 2:00 o'clock PM on February 26, 2015 and will be opened publicly. The bid tab will be made public. Weighted consideration will be given to the bidder with the earliest completion date.

The Work includes:
The Work includes but is not limited to the construction of a new building to house offices for Veterans Affairs for Pottawattamie County, Iowa. Materials include concrete foundations and slabs, wood stud framing, pre-engineered wood joists, laminated wood beams, masonry walls and precase hollow core slabs to create storm safe areas, wood doors and hollow metal frames, aluminum store front, metal and single ply membrane roofing, casework, insulation and interior and exterior finishes. Mechanical and electrical systems are included in the work. Sitework includes grading, utilities, paving, irrigation and landscaping.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402)592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $150.00 payable to HGM Associates, Inc. *A Builder's Card will also be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
CD's and Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $30.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Bid Documents MUST be returned, in good condition, within 14 calendar days from the date of Award to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within the time specified, the deposit check will be forfeited.
