A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 1:30 p.m.
virtually and at Mills County Annex Building, 403 Railroad Avenue, Glenwood, Iowa, 51534. Bids will not
be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference, either in-person or
virtually. For bidders who wish to attend virtually, email project@glenwoodredevelopment.com and a
Teams invite will be provided. A site visit will follow immediately after the pre-bid conference. The
Bidders will have the opportunity to visit the site on one additional occasion. The opportunity will be on
Friday, August 21st, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Buildings will be open for viewing until 3:00 p.m. The Owner or Engineer will meet the prospective Bidders at the Glenwood Resource Center Powerhouse located at
188 Central Street in Glenwood, Iowa 51534 to enter the site.

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the HDR office located at 1917 S. 67th Street,
Omaha Nebraska, 68106-2973, until Wednesday, August 26th, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. local time. At that time
the Bids received will be privately opened and read.

Removal and proper disposal of building materials, concrete slabs, foundations, driveway pavement
and sidewalks contained in approximately 25 structures and surrounding areas. This project is the
fifth of a series of abatement and demolition projects at the former Glenwood Resource Center that
will be forthcoming in 2026 to provide future opportunities for Bidders to submit bids.

A printed copy of bid documents including all plans and specifications can be obtained upon receipt of a non-refundable payment of $40.00 (+ 7% NE Sales Tax), made payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Any addenda may also be printed on request for an additional cost depending on number of pages and sizes.
*An OBE Non-Cash Builder's Card will NOT be accepted in lieu of purchasing a set.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained - no partial set orders will be issued.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $20.00 (+ 7% NE Sales Tax), payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Printed bid documents do not need to be returned, as there is no deposit to be refunded. You may return bid documents if you wish, and we can recycle them for free.
All listed fees are before applicable taxes.
