Owner will receive sealed bids until the bid time and date, Tuesday, January 20th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. (CST) Central Standard Time, as an Agenda item in the regular Commissioner’s Meeting, at the County Commissioner’s Boardroom, Second Floor of the Courthouse, 204 South High Street, Wilber, Nebraska 68465. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud during the Board Meeting.

Public Notes:

|
Project consists of complete interior renovation of the former Sheriff’s
Offices and County Jail structure, with limited structural alterations. The exterior will also have
limited modifications consisting mostly of removal and replacement of windows. The State
Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) has provided preliminary acceptance to this level of
modification, and the County wishes to receive the full tax credit available. There will be new
plumbing, HVAC and new interior electrical power and lighting systems which utilize the
existing building’s boiler and power.

Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained - no partial set orders will be issued.

Printed bid documents do not need to be returned, as there is no deposit to be refunded. You may return bid documents if you wish, and we can recycle them for free.
