PreBid Info:   Project Pre-Bid Walkthrough: A non-mandatory pre-bid conference and walkthrough will be held on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. local time on site. Attendance is highly recommended for bidders to see the existing building conditions. Attendees should meet in front of the City Hall next door to the project site.

Bid Info:   Bids will be received at the office of the City of Franklin City Hall, located at 619 15th Ave., Franklin, Nebraska, until eleven o?clock, 11:00 AM, local time on Friday, February 28, 2025 and will then be publicly opened and read.

Public Notes:
work includes the full renovation of an approximately 5,000 s.f. two-story building in downtown Franklin. Main level will two commercial spaces accessed from the street facing façade, and two apartments accessed from the rear alley. Second level will include six apartments, also accessed from the rear. Construction will typically consist of wood framed interior construction, including replacing some damaged floor and roof structure. The existing structure will be maintained but all interior finishes, mechanical and electrical work will be removed and the interior will consist of all new construction throughout. The Owner has already contracted exterior work including new windows, doors, façade restoration and new roofing with separate contractors. This project with be primarily interior renovation and site work. Exterior site work includes grading, new parking from the alley, paved outdoor gathering space, sidewalks and amenities, and connection of all new utilities.

Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable card payment in the amount of $60.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

A printed copy of bid documents including all plans and specifications can be obtained upon receipt of a non-refundable payment of $120.00, made payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Any addenda may also be printed on request for an additional cost depending on number of pages and sizes.
*An OBE Non-Cash Builder's Card will NOT be accepted in lieu of purchasing a set.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained - no partial set orders will be issued.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $40.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

Printed bid documents do not need to be returned, as there is no deposit to be refunded. You may return bid documents if you wish, and we can recycle them for free.

All listed fees are before applicable taxes.
