Public Notes:
Work under this proposed contract will consist of the removal of the existing asphalt shingled roof system and miscellaneous flashings and replacing them with a new asphalt shingled roof system and miscellaneous flashings. The existing pre-finished metal gutters and downspouts are to remain. Remove existing wood roof access ladder and support framing and replacing it with new aluminum roof access ladder and 2x wood support framing. Remove existing blown-in insulation and replace it with new R-44 minimum blown-in fiberglass insulation and 2x walkway platforms in the un-conditioned portions of the existing attic. At the center attic mechanical room, remove the existing fiberglass batt insulation and poly-barrier and replace it with new 1/4ā€ OSB attached to the bottom of the existing roof rafters to create a vent space and applying R-42 sprayed urethane insulation coated with intumescent coating per the drawings and specifications.
