Public Notes:
West Highschool ? West Campus has existing above ceiling air-handling units with multiple zones serving classrooms. Each zone has a hydronic reheat coil. Existing hydronic heating distribution pump serving AHU hydronic coil and reheat coil are also to be replaced. WCS desires to replace these systems as they are near the end of their useful life and experiencing major failures. The project includes but is not limited to the following major elements:
  • • Removal of the existing air-handling units.
  • Removal of existing CWS / R piping to accommodate AHU replacement.
  • Removal of existing HWS / R piping to accommodate AHU replacement, VAV reheat installation, and hot water distribution pump replacement.
  • Removal of existing pneumatic temperature controls.
  • Removal of existing hot water distribution pumps.
  • General demolition to accommodate project.
  • Installation of three new air-handling units.
  • Installation of new VAV terminal boxes with reheat coils.
  • Installation of three new hot water distribution pumps.
  • Installation of new CWS / R piping.
  • Installation of new HWS / R piping.
  • Installation of new DDC system.
  • Commissioning new equipment and controls.
  • Electrical modifications to accommodate new mechanical equipment.
  • Structural modifications to accommodate new mechanical equipment.
  • General Construction to accommodate new mechanical equipment.
