Bid Info:   Sealed proposals will be received at the Department of Transportation Operations Division, located at 5001 S. 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, until 3:00 PM, local time on Thursday June 13th 2024 and will then be publicly opened and read aloud.

Project Description: In general, Work consists of constructing a new NDOT maintenance facility of approximately 26,700+ square feet, consisting of NDOT and Nebraska State Patrol office space, evidence room, crew and trooper rooms, restrooms, heated equipment storage bays, cold storage bay, wash bay, mechanic’s bay and work area, parts/tool storage, and mezzanine storage at a new NDOT maintenance yard located in Kearney, NE. Construction is to be primarily a fully insulated pre-engineered metal building system. Non-load bearing metal stud framing is to be used for interior wall framing. Additional building components include concrete footings & curbs, structural steel, metal pan stairs and railings, polished concrete floors, metal roof, motorized sectional doors, pre-finished aluminum “hanger rod” canopies, hollow metal and stainless steel doors and frames, aluminum windows, casework, ceramic tile and paint finishes, acoustical tile ceilings, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and installation. Site work includes grading, paving, parking, sidewalks, fuel island, utilities, retaining wall(s), perimeter chain link fencing, motorized sliding gate, manual swing gates and two preengineered post frame (cold storage) structures.
