Public Notes:
In general, Work includes a remodel of approx. 3,765 sf of existing classroom space and support rooms as well as a new 185 sf entrance/vestibule addition. The existing heat pumps and heat pump piping will be reused with next ductwork required to accommodate the remodeling. Return air will be installed low on the wall in each classroom. The existing geothermal wellfield will be utilized and does not require expansion for this project. New LED light fixtures and lighting controls including occupancy sensors, dimmers, and photocells will be provided per energy code. A new structure for the vestibule addition is required with exterior finishes of brick masonry and standing seam metal wall panels to match the existing building. Roofing material for the new addition will be an EPDM roofing membrane. The school will be occupied by students during construction.
