Public Notes:

The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to,
the following:
1. The Interior Rehabilitation of the Susan La Flesche Picotte Memorial Hospital facility
including all new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, audio visual,
telecommunications, structural and architectural repairs and preservation and other
Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
2. The United States Department of the Interior has recognized the Susan La Flesche
Picotte Memorial Hospital as a registered National Historic Landmark (NHL)
possessing exceptional architectural, historic and cultural value for our nation. It is the
mission of the Owner to insure that the work performed be of the highest quality and
consistent with the original building construction and details. Only qualified,
experienced contractors/craftsmen who recognize the exceptional value of this
landmark and can perform to the highest standards will be employed.
3. The Susan La Flesche Picotte Memorial Hospital is a significant landmark primarily for
its association with its namesake, Dr. Susan La Flesche Picotte. She earned distinction
by attending the Women’s Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and
graduated in 1889 at the head of her class. In so doing, she became the first Native
American woman to earn a medical degree in the United States.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $200.00 payable to Dr Susan LaFlesche Picotte Memorial Hospital. *An OBE Non-Cash Builder's Card will be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
Electronic Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $30.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained - no partial set orders will be issued.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $40.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Bid Documents MUST be returned, in good condition, within 14 calendar days from award of the project to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within the time specified, the deposit check will be forfeited.
