Public Notes:
Westbrook Elementary School has three existing air-handling units serving the gymnasium. WCS desires to replace these systems as they are near the end of their useful life and experiencing major failures. The project includes but is not limited to the following major elements:
  • Removal of the existing air-handling units.
  • Removal of existing hydronic piping to accommodate AHU replacement.
  • Removal of existing relief fans.
  • General demolition to accommodate project.
  • Installation of two new air-handling units.
  • Installation of new hydronic piping.
  • Installation of new motorized dampers.
  • Installation of new relief fans.
  • Installation of new DDC system.
  • Commissioning new equipment and controls.
  • Electrical modifications to accommodate new mechanical equipment.
  • Structural modifications to accommodate new mechanical equipment.
  • General Construction to accommodate new mechanical equipment.
