Bid Info:   YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Education Service Unit #1 shall receive sealed bids on a combined general contract for interior renovations to the current ESU Facility in Wakefield, NE; That said bids shall be received by the Owner, Bill Heimann, Administrator of ESU #1 until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the existing ESU #1, 211 10th Street Wakefield, Nebraska. Immediately thereafter bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Public Notes:
This project involves the interior remodel of an existing Educational Service Unit business office and conference center. Renovations will be focused at the main entrance corridor and the open office spaces for the ESU staff. Work will include new interior finishes, casework, lighting, doors and sidelites, lighting, and HVAC improvements. the existing server room will be expanded, and new small conference rooms will be added for zoom meetings. The building area and height are unchanged. A new fire rated coiling counter door with localized smoke detection will be added to facilitate a new receptionist workstation. The existing building does not include fire sprinklers or a fire alarm.
