A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 3:30 pm., Tuesday, March 29, 2022 in the elementary cafeteria at the project site, 312 N Douglas Street, Wayne, Nebraska. All bidders are encouraged to be present. There is no other time scheduled for inspection of the existing conditions.

Bids shall be received by the Owner until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2022 in the Wayne Community High School Office at 611 W 7th St, Wayne, Nebraska 68787. Immediately thereafter bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Public Notes:


This project consists of improvements to the existing locker room HVAC system at the existing Wayne Elementary Building. Work includes demolition and removal of old rooftop equipment and demolition of portions of existing ductwork and plumbing. Patching of existing EPDM roof where existing penetrations are removed and establishing a new curb for a new mechanical RTU. The new RTU is larger than the existing unit and will require additional steel structural support. Interior scope will include modifications to existing supply and return air system, piping modifications, new penetrations through CMU walls, painting of newly installed and exposed systems to match existing, penetration sealants, and electrical connections to RTUs and controls systems.
