YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Schuyler Community Schools shall receive sealed bids on an
interior classroom renovation contract for the Dual Language Elementary located at 2023 Colfax Street,
Schuyler, NE 68661; That said bids shall be received by the Owner until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 18,
2022 in Schuyler Community Schools District Office located at 120 W. 20th Street, Schuyler, Nebraska
68661. Immediately thereafter bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All interested parties are
invited to attend.

The proposed project consists of interior renovations to the district facility located in
Schuyler, NE. Work will be performed in two separate phases to create a total of 6 new
classrooms for the dual language program Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades. Phase 1 will
demolish all interior partitions, fixtures, and finishes in the south wing encompassing
approximately 6000 square feet. New construction will include wood framed walls, gyp
bd ceilings and walls, insulation, new floor finishes, casework, toilet rooms, power,
lighting, and HVAC replacement. Also included will be the replacement of the existing
boiler and the installation of a new rooftop mounted Dedicated Outside Air Unit. Phase 2
will commence upon the completion of phase 1 with a similar project scope in the west
wing affecting an area of approximately 3000 square feet.
