PreBid Info:   A prebid conference for all bidders will be held on 25 August 2021 at 10:00 a.m., local time. Prospective bidders are requested to attend. This meeting will be conducted via ZOOM online platform, with on-site visit times available by appointment.

Bid Info:   Owner will receive sealed bids until 2:00 PM on October 5, 2021. Send bids to the Office of the Architect, 410 1st Street, Glenwood, IA 51534. Bids will be thereafter opened and read aloud with viewing availability via ZOOM online platform.

Project Location: Audubon, Iowa

Public Notes:
Project consists of Interior rehabilitation of the upper story of an existing two-story historic building. Scope of work includes selective demolition while protecting existing historic elements, Installation of new HVAC systems, Installation of new Electrical systems, Installation of new plumbing systems, Structural repair at rear (plan-west) floor area, structural work to augment existing roof structure, repair and restoration of existing historic windows, Installation of new Storm Windows, Masonry repair and restoration where indicated, Installation of complete new roof system with thermal insulation, installation of kitchens and bathrooms for two (2) proposed upper story apartments, Installation of new guardrail at entry area stoop, and other work as indicated in the Documents. The Work includes historic buildings being reviewed under Section 106 NHPA and HUD regulations for NEPA (24 CFR Part 58.5[b]). The Work will follow historic guidelines established by the Secretary of the Interior and Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.



Job Purchase Information:
Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $100.00 payable to Strong America Development Group LLC. *A Builder's Card will also be accepted in lieu of deposit check.

CD's and Electronic Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available at no charge.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained - no partial set orders will be issued.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $45.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

Bid Documents MUST be returned, in good condition, within 14 days of project bid date to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within the time specified, the deposit check will be forfeited.
