All responses and proposals shall be sealed and must be received at the office of the
Superintendent of Schools located at 401 S. Pine Street, Valley, Nebraska at or prior to 2:00
o’clock p.m. on July 6, 2021. Responses and proposals may be delivered in person, via United
States Mail, or parcel service; responses and proposals will not be received by facsimile
transmission, e-mail, or any other electronic or telephonic means. Only such responses and proposals as have been received by the Superintendent's office at the address, time and date
listed above, will be considered. Submitted responses and proposals will be immediately and
simultaneously opened and recorded in the presence of those submitting responses and
proposals, or their representatives, and the public at 2:00 o’clock p.m. on July 6, 2021, in the
offices of the Superintendent of Schools. Following the opening of responses and proposals,
the responses and proposals will be evaluated, the construction manager at risk candidates
ranked in order of preference, and a contract negotiated and approved according to Board of
Education policy.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Education of Douglas County School District 28-0015,
a/k/a Douglas County West Community Schools, 401 S. Pine Street, PO Box 378, Valley,
Nebraska, is hereby requesting
qualifications from qualified construction management firms to provide construction
management at risk services for the following described project in Valley, Nebraska: Douglas County West Community Schools – New Additions/Construction and
Remodeling of Existing School Facilities consisting of 72,000 square feet and
includes, (1) 38,000 square feet of new construction including a middle school
addition; a 500-seat auditorium with fine arts classrooms; and restrooms and
concessions for the softball complex; and (2) 34,000 square feet of renovation
including classrooms, weight room, locker rooms, wrestling/cardio room, and
multi-purpose space.
