Bid Info:   Morrill County Community Hospital in Bridgeport, Nebraska will receive sealed proposals for this project until 9:45 AM Mountain Time on May 18th, 2021 at the Hospital Conference Room at 1313 S Street, Bridgeport, NE 69336. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. Please check in at the main entrance for Covid screening procedures. Masks are required within the facility. Bid opening will take place at 10:00 AM Mountain Time.

Public Notes:
Architectural & Structural: This project consists of the removal of an approximately 2,000 square foot building, connecting link, and interior ramp and an addition of a new approximately 8,340 square foot addition for PT and Finance Offices. The new building consists of steel columns and beams with bar joist roof support. Steel stud framing, brick veneer with continuous rigid and closed cell spray foam on the exterior walls. The building elevation is being raised to match the adjacent clinic elevation, thus creating exterior ramps, steps, and stoops. The roof is a built up fully adhered EPDM roofing with four sets of internal roof and overflow drains. The PT area will have open ceilings with painted structures and duct work. Finishes will be matching the 2015 clinic addition.

Mechanical Systems: The HVAC system for this project will consist of two gas fired roof top units distributing to electric VAV boxes providing multiple control zones within the space. Cabinet electric heaters will be provided next to entrances. The plumbing system will consist of a new domestic water service and water heater. It is not anticipated that piped medical gas will be utilized for this building. The existing fire sprinkler system will be extended into this new project.

Electrical Systems: Electrically, the building will be equipped with a new electrical service. The building will not have a backup generator. Lighting will be an all LED lighting package inside and out. Lighting controls will be designed per the IECC. The space will be provided with nurse call, public address, IT, and access controls.

Copies of plans and specifications may be obtained from A & D Technical Supply of Lincoln on April 21st upon payment of a $100.00 deposit for each set.

The deposit will be refunded upon return of the plans and specifications in good condition within 45 days after the bid opening date.

Only Complete Sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial sets will be issued.

Downloads containing a complete set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available for a non-refundable fee of $25.00 paid to A&D Technical Supply Co.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc.
