Bid Info:   Sealed Bids for the Building Addition Project at the Pottawattamie County Courthouse located at 227 South 6th Street, Council Bluffs, Iowa will be received at the Pottawattamie County Courthouse, 227 South 6th Street, Council Bluffs, Iowa, on second floor in the Board Room Tuesday, April 20, 2021 until 10:00 a.m. and will be opened publicly.

Project Location: Council Bluffs, Iowa

Public Notes:
The Work includes but is not limited to a building addition to the Courthouse. Included is demolition of portions of the existing courthouse, existing entry stairs, ramps and storefront along with certain mechanical and electrical items. New work at the lower level and first floor includes metal studs, gypsum drywall, concrete floors, concrete and masonry walls, steel columns, beams, roof and floor joists, brick veneer, aluminum doors and windows, structural aluminum curtainwall other finishes, mechanical and electrical items. An elevator is also part of the work. Extension of existing electrical systems, including lightning protection system, and structured cabling. Access Control and Video Management systems are provided by owner's vendor. Extension of existing mechanical systems including hot and chilled water plant to new air handling units.



Job Purchase Information:
Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $100.00 payable to HGM Associates. There is a limit of 1 (one) set per plan-holder. Additional sets may be purchased. *A Builder's Card will also be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
CD's and Electronic Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $45.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained - no partial set orders will be issued.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $50.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

Bid Documents MUST be returned, in good condition, within 30 calendar days from the bid date or within 14 calendar days after award of the project or within 14 calendar days from the bid date of award to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within the time specified, the deposit check will be forfeited.
