McCarthy Building Companies, hereinafter called Construction Manager will receive bids from
subcontractors for construction of the S. 42nd and Y Middle School in Omaha, NE.
Bids will be received until February 22, 2021 at 2 PM CST.
Bids shall be delivered by the date and time indicated above to McCarthy Building Companies. Bids
shall be received via Email or Hand Delivered.
Emailed Bids shall be a single PDF document emailed to x42ndandYbids@mccarthy.com. This
is the only email address bids will be received. The subject line shall read “OPS 42nd and Y Middle School
Bid Work Category No.____”
Hand Delivered Bids shall be placed in an opaque envelope and clearly marked with the words
“OPS 42nd and Y Middle School Work Category No.____” and delivered to McCarthy Building Companies,
4201 S. 130th Street, Omaha, NE 68137. This will not be a public opening.

The Project consists of an approximate 177,000 square feet middle school that includes a gymnasium, locker
room, library, administration offices, music suite, food service, library and academic wing with classrooms,
and auxiliary support spaces for approximately 1,000 students.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127 (402) 592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $100.00 payable to Omaha Public Schools. *A Builder's Card will also be accepted in lieu of deposit check.
CD's and Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $50.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial set orders will be issued.
If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $60.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Bid Documents MUST be returned in 'like new' condition to the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. within 14 days of the bid opening to obtain a deposit refund.
