PreBid Info:   All Bidders are encouraged to attend a Pre-bid Conference located at Cather Elementary School, at 3030 South 139th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68144 on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021 at 3:00 PM CST, to familiarize themselves with the Bidding requirements, General / Supplementary Conditions of Construction, and to ensure comprehension of the specifications.

Bid Info:   BIDS ARE DUE: 9:30 A.M. (CST), THURSDAY, JANUARY 14, 2021 Bids may be submitted in person at the MPS Support Services Center, 13906 F Street, Omaha NE, 69144 during typical hours of operation of 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. until the date and time bids are due. All visitors attempting to submit a bid shall be required to request access using the video intercom when they arrive. Visitors will also be asked screening questions before being granted access to the building, all visitors must wear a mask or face covering and must practice social distancing practices while in the building. Bids will be time stamped at the time of receipt and will be publicly opened via a virtual bid opening. Bidders will be emailed a Zoom link at the time of submission of the bid to join the bid opening beginning at 10:00 a.m. at which time Morrissey Engineering and MPS will open the bids and verify their completeness and create a bid tabulation. Include an email address on the outside of the envelope in order to receive the Zoom link. Public Notes:
There is limited existing site lighting on the east side of Cather Elementary. This project is to remove existing site lighting along 139th street between Wright Street and Spring Street, and provide new LED lighting along 139th street between Wright Street and Spring Street, as well as new pedestrian lighting at the east main entrance to the school.
