Bid Info:   A hearing will be conducted thereon at a meeting of said Utilities Board to be held in the City Hall, Glenwood, Iowa, 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at which time and place any person may appear and file objections to the proposed Drawings, Specifications and form of Contract and estimated costs for said improvements. Sealed Bids for the construction of said improvements will be received by the GMU Board, meeting at City Hall, Glenwood, Iowa, until 8:00 a.m. on such date and will be opened and publicly read by said Board, or Board’s representative, immediately after the termination of said hearing. Bids will then be considered by the Board of Trustees at said time and will be acted upon at such time and place or at such later time and place as may then be fixed.

Project Location: Glenwood, Iowa

Public Notes:
The project includes the rehabilitation of two existing submersible pumping stations that were damaged during the March 2019 flood event. Work includes the removal and replacement of submersible pumps, control panels, metering equipment, electrical and control modifications and the installation of raised structures to elevate the new electrical, control panel, and backup generator. The project is being bid in two separate contracts and will be evaluated on separate terms before award.

Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950 upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $40.00 payable to Olmsted & Perry Consulting Engineers Inc. *A Builder's Card will NOT be accepted in lieu of deposit check.

CD's and Electronic Downloads containing a full set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $20.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
Only complete sets of Bid Documents may be obtained - no partial set orders will be issued.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $25.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a flat fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

Bid Documents MUST be returned, in good condition, within 14 calendar days from award of the project to obtain a deposit refund.
If Bid Documents are NOT returned within the time specified, the deposit check will be forfeited.
