Sealed bids will be
received by the Secretary of the Board of Water Works Trustees of the City of Council Bluffs, Iowa
(hereinafter called the "Owner"), at 2000 North 25th Street, Council Bluffs, Iowa, until 10:00 AM on
the 13th day of May, 2020, at which time the Secretary and Engineer will publicly open the bids in
the Board Conference Room at said address, announce the amount of the bids, and file all proposals
received. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and recommended social distancing practices, the
following bid opening procedures shall apply until further notice: Bids will still be collected by Council Bluffs Water Works staff. Bidders shall submit
bids to the Council Bluffs Water Works temporary office located outside of the main
gate at 2000 N. 25th Street Council Bluffs, IA. Bidders will not be allowed to enter the
Council Bluffs Water Works main office for the opening of the bids. At the advertised bid opening time, the bids will be opened, reviewed, and read aloud. A summary of the bids will be emailed to each Bidder immediately following the bid
opening. All Bidders should include a separate document within the bid envelope with
an email address for the results.
