Bid Info:   Sheridan County Hospital in Hoxie, Kansas is moving forward with reopening the bidding process, temporarily stopped due to the Covid 19 pandemic, for the renovation construction of the hospital patient rooms in their existing facility. The Hospital will receive sealed proposals for both projects until 10:00 AM Central Time on June 10th, 2020 at 826 18th St A, Hoxie, KS 67740. Bid opening will be held publicly by an on-line Zoom Meeting – do not attend in person.

Public Notes:
Patient Room Renovation Project Package: This is a phased project that consist of a 3,600 sq. ft. patient room and corridors in the existing hospital facility and the addition of 155 sq. ft. Patient Toilet/Shower Rooms. Patients will remain in the facility throughout the duration of construction. There will be four phases of construction to ensure the Hospital is able to maintain approximately ½ of the patient rooms for patient usage during the duration of construction. There are 8 alternates as part of the project. If the Owner elects to choses any or all of the alternates, those alternates will be completed as a separate phase from the base bid project.

Courtyard Renovation Project Package: This consist of the removal of a large existing tree and root system, adding a new storm sewer catch basin that will tie into an existing courtyard catch basin, and removal of existing sidewalks and re-pouring new sidewalks to make better the flow of the surface drainage of the courtyard. The removal of the debris and delivery of the construction products are not allowed to go through the building and are to be craned over the roof of the existing building. For this reason, the two projects are being packaged together to allow the construction equipment to be used on both projects at the same time and provide construction efficiencies with the timing of both projects (IE, use of a crane for both project when it is needed at the same time for both projects).

Copies of plans and specifications may be obtained from A & D Technical Supply of Lincoln on February 17th upon payment of a $100.00 deposit for each set.

The deposit will be refunded upon return of the plans and specifications in good condition within 45 days after the bid opening date.

Shipping is available for a non-refundable fee of $25.00 paid to A&D Technical Supply Co.
